DIIV: ‘ZIRP!’, pre-release listening

Thursday, October 29, 2026

Single session: Doors 7:30pm.

Omelas Listening Room
San Juan

Presented with In Sheep’s Clothing.

A first listen to ‘ZIRP!’, DIIV’s fifth album, played in full the night before it comes out.

DIIV, the Brooklyn-formed quartet, has spent fifteen years making shoegaze its own: interlocking guitars, melodies that hang in the air. ‘ZIRP!’, produced by A. G. Cook, is the record the band calls its pop record: “life is hard. ZIRP! is easy.”

We listen to all eleven songs from start to finish, as part of In Sheep’s Clothing’s first-listen sessions in listening rooms around the world. The album comes out on October 30.

The album can be pre-ordered directly from the band’s Bandcamp: vinyl, CD or download.
